Join The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association. (The following action points have been lifted directly from the CASAA website.)

Petition for the AAP, ACS, AHA, American Legacy Foundation, ALA, AMA, ASH, FDA, Public Citizen and Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids to change their policy and support the sale and use of ecigarettes as a reduced harm option for committed adult smokers. Sign the petition

Electronic cigarette and smokeless alternatives users are strongly encouraged to participate in two new Electronic Cigarette User Surveys here.

Click here to urge the FDA to support the Petition submitted by the American Association of Public Health Physicians (AAPHP) requesting the FDA to reclassify and regulate electronic cigarettes (nicotine vaporizers) as tobacco products (instead of trying to ban the products by classifying them as drugs or devices). For more details, click here.

And click here to urge the FDA to support a second AAPHP petition requesting the FDA to clarify/correct inaccurate and misleading claims about electronic cigarettes (nicotine vaporizers) made at the FDA's July 22, 2009 press conference, and to truthfully inform the public of existing evidence about the products.
